This can be in-person, call, text, or email, I contact the client at the appreciate time, and day (9 am-5 pm, Monday-Saturday, or unless I am given permission to contact further within those times. While meeting with the client I ask an assortment of questions, depending on whether the client knows what they want me to produce, or starting from scratch. These questions can range from the whole company to the feel, colors, sizes, fonts, and graphics they would want to include. To conclude the meeting with the client I will discuss pay, I will give a range of how much it will cost, and we will meet within a reasonable pay for the design.

During the sketching process, I keep most concepts close to me, since these aren’t close to finish. Usually, the sketching process could take up to a day or two, when I complete “Finalized sketches”, they can tell the type of feel I’m creating.

After creating the Finalized Sketches, I contact the client to show the work so far, and I usually have about 3-5 concepts to show for. If the client isn’t satisfied, I go back to the drawing board, but for the most part, they choose one concept, and I continue to the next step.

During the digital development, I would create a decent digital rough within 3-4 days.

After completing a good digital rough, I email the client to get their feedback, if they aren’t sold on the rough I would go back to the drawing board, or if everything is okay with the client continue with the final touches to the project. 

Usually on this step, they will ask for and final touches to the design, and I will send over the project with the invoice, and receive payment. Every client has the potential to be an ongoing client in my eyes!
